Dads are the hardest people to buy presents for and with Fathers Day fast approaching you may be wondering, yet again, what to buy.  The newly released TCT DVD will make the perfect gift, with fantastic unseen performances from favourites including The Who, Paul Weller, Noel Gallagher, Judas Priest and The Cure it’s sure to be a popular choice!  You can buy your copy online on the TCT website or from most music retailers.

Although our campaign for the TCT DVD has now come to an end, don’t forget there are still DVD’s available to buy on the TCT website and from other music retailers.  If you run a blog or fan site, we still have some free copies for competition giveaways, so get in touch!

The winner of ‘SO YOU THINK YOU’RE THE BIGGEST SUPERFAN?’ is Karen Stephens from London; she sent us a picture of her with Paul Weller and wrote us an e-mail declaring her superfan-ness.  Congratulations Karen!

Remember the DVD from last year’s concert goes on sale on 14th April in all good music retailers and online from www.teenagecancertrust.org (where all profit is donated to the TCT).  It features previously unseen concert footage of Noel Gallagher, The Who, Kasabian, Bloc Party, Razorlight, Kaiser Chiefs, The view, The Cure, Paul Weller, The coral, The Bees, Judas Priest and Gruff Rhys.

We’ve had more entries to win the TCT concert tickets. Here’s one of them; Karen e-mailed us this picture of her and Paul Weller.  Here’s what she said to prove she’s his biggest ‘SUPERFAN’:

“Here is the Photo of me and Paul in New York at the sound check for his gig there in Feb 2003.   I have met him many many times and been invited to his studio on various occasions with friends to listen to playbacks for new albums etc.  When I joined MySpace I thought the name I chose as a nickname was very apt – ‘Wellersmate’ !! 

I have a number of photos but this is my favourite! Would love a chance to win a ticket to the TCT gig in April because I wasn’t fortunate to get through on the phone the day the tickets went on sale.  Most of my friends got tickets so it would be great to go with them.”

We’ve had some great entries for our ‘SO YOU THINK YOUR THE BIGGEST SUPERFAN?’ competition.  This one is from Laura wo wants the tickets to see Paul Weller and Duffy, here’s what she said;

“We have followed Paul Weller around the world… Our son (now 5) has been to many of the cities with us but we have always had to hire in a babysitter whilst we attend the concerts.  This year we are taking him to see Paul Weller at Bournemouth but we were not lucky enough to get tickets for the TCT event on the 10^th April. 

One of the highlights was visiting New York last January to see Paul Weller on his 3 night tour.  I attach a photo from one of the nights.  Whilst waiting for Paul Weller to leave the venue I was able to get a photo taken with Paolo Nutini who played a couple of numbers with Paul.”

Enter our competition to win tickets to see Duffy, The Fratellis and Paul Weller, live at the Teenage Cancer Trust concert at the Royal Albert Hall in April 2008.

All you have to do is upload a video or photo to prove how much you love your favourite band, whoever they are. To win, do your best to impress us and prove that you really are a true superfan.

You could submit a photo of you dressed up as your idol or a clip of you singing one of their greatest hits. Maybe you’re a dead ringer for Noel Gallagher or you had your picture taken with The Fratellis; use your imagination and upload it now!
